I use it with LiPos and the balance-charge operation gets the batteries within 0.01V of each other. The only change I think should be made is to get rid of some of the cables included, like the receiver pack charger or perhaps the alligator clip leads, and include a Deans connector. Last, the AC or DC input is very flexible.

Gave only 4 stars because No Dean plug! Not Hobbypartz fault. All the other plugs are good to have. But for this hobby you need a dean & 4mm plug mainly. Price is fair! But hobbyparts doesn't sell the dean plug. Had to find elseware!

Got some Blue LiPos 5000mHa, 30C, 7.4v batteries from here with this charger. Popped on a molex to traxxas adapter and soldered on traxxas connectors to the end of the batteries. Turned out great, charger is very reliable, lots of settings and features for the price. I was skeptical about getting a cheaper Chinese charger like this. But, it has turned out to be a great charger at a great price. Get it!

Only thing that I would like to see is a DC cord included along with longer charging cords, especially the ones for the aircraft and radio. Other than that, I like the charger and would recommend it to anyone in the R/C field!

Instructions are a bit vage, but after you use it a while it is easy. Will charge at a maximum of 55 watts, but discharge at a maximum of 5 watts. Some people complain about the low discharge rate,but it is ok with me I dont discharge and cycle battrys much just charge. The charge for storage is a nice feature for winter.

This thing is a must have for anyone doing alot charging. Easy to use and works great. I highly recommend it.

Charger works great 99% of the time but sometimes beeps and says "connection break" when nothing has happened. Simply push stop and start again and it works like a charm.
