T-Pro MG90 9G Metal Gear Servostar rating 5GustykDecember 23, 2011it's so much better than nylon servos.... I paired up with a gyro and you can tell the difference. Very satisfied.

T-Pro MG90 9G Metal Gear Servostar rating 5Allen C. (aka: Snowboard_Nut) in KC, MO.November 23, 2011Ordered 3 for cyclic control on my EXI 450 Pro. Needed to add small washers from local Ace Hardware (The yellow Serv-a-Lite bulk bins) as to make sure the mounting tabs don't break from the mounting screw. These servo's are INCREDIBLE! Zero slop in the gears. While leveling the swash Low-Mid-High with a bubble level on the paddles, centering was ballz on and consistant, the linearity of CCPM interaction inbetween Low-Mid-High was exceptional, i really couldn't believe it! These servo's ARE digital, 1520us/70mhz. Don't misunderstand that they are digital, they work with all Rx's. Analog servo's ARE also 1520us/70mhz, and the Rx puts out 1520us/70mhz so as long as the numbers match up, you can use digital where an analog would normally be used. Digital will always be better at consistant linearity from End Point to End Point when matched with other servo's of the same model. The torque is incredible as well as the speed, I simply can't believe the value for these, I was expecting to be disappointed. I am running them at 5.5 volts, 4 amp SBEC. 40 flights @ 7 minutes each, still perfect, no slop. My friend bought the Dynam $50 motor/esc/servo combo, and those servo's are complete junk after comparing them, he can fly heli's and with those Dynams he can barely keep the bird in the air, on the verge of uncontrollable he said. Then he flew mine and was blown away how tight and precise they are..... You can't go wrong with these, even if i had big $, on these I just don't see a need to buy higher dollar servo's, save the money for a rockin' digital tail servo and good gyro!
T-Pro MG90 9G Metal Gear Servostar rating 5Jim CarpenterNovember 12, 2011The ONLY servo I use. I have had so many higher priced servos fail, both plastic and metal gear units.
