Limited 1 per Customerstar rating 5oswaldocJanuary 30, 2011I bought this engine about five month ago to back up the .16 engine from a forza offroad buggy engine and i haven´t start it up because i used the pull start for a .16 engine and the pull start rope or wire rip so i need to buy a electric start for it. i decided to buy this motor because they say that it could fit any 1-10 scale buggy, has good power and tork if this motor doesn´t have any problem like the stock engine i would buy another one for my new ford gt to replace the .15 engine that it has. i can´t wait to turn this baby on : ). this engine is big but not that big for its price, i cant wait for this item to be in stock.

I have put a couple of gallons through it without issue. Easy to tune and runs great on 15%. It's still hard to believe that it has such an incredible price. If your pull cord breaks, you can just use a fabric boot lace as a replacement.

Runs circles around my 25. I only wish you could get more than 1 per customer. I would recommend taking the pull start off and putting in an electric start.

When that motor went south on me I decided to buy this one to replace it.This Motor is stonger than my 4.6 savage motor hold tune better and starts up great.The only reason I don't give it five stars is because the pull start nylon rope broke so I replaced it with the rotor start from my savage 4.6 motor and it fits perfect. I am going to buy two more of these motors. For peak tuning it was a half turn clockwise and that was it. This is a strong and reliabe motor and I sujest that you buy one or tree of these motors,no lie this motor is great has plenty of bottom end torque for me to pop wheelies.

One thing I would like too see is that Hobbypartz carries the pull start as a replacement part for this engine because eventually it will break.

The pinch from the factory is super tight, so be careful starting this for the first time or you will break the pull starter! This .27 keep its tune very well and is not finicky as some engines are to tune. Overall an awesome engine for the price!
