On 3 cell I can't go full throttle. It flips over. On 7.2 its fast. I'm going to try 8.4 and see if I can keep the nose from flipping over. It's a great combo for the mini t.

That was over 2 month's ago I have been checking every day since still and no inventory on Combo A3. You guys have good products, great prices but you stink at maintaining inventory. Taking my business elsewhere, at least I'll get what I need.

Three consective passes it was 31mph with stock gearing and bettery listed in my previous review. I did however burn up the motor at work running on cement. I had it programmed with max timing and had the drag brake at 20% which made it handle really good around the corners letting off the throttle. About 1/2 way through my second battery the motor got real hot. I had been running max timing but drag brake really seamed to heat up the motor after 20 minutes of playing off and on the throttle. The good news is a replacement motor was only $14!! The guys at work all have 1/10 scale trucks and they call mine "the flying nat"

My son make it wheelie and love the truck. make the gear right and there is no heat problem.. the program card is wonderful, love it. it fast fast fast; however shorter time when play with NIMH battery love it

I'm still running stocks gears but replace stock 2s LiPo with Hobbypartz SKY LIPO 2S, 1300 mah, 30C burst. The new batteries woke this thing up and they only cost $7 each. Torque and top end improved dramatically. I would guess I'm 65-75% faster than stock. I race against stock 2wd 1/10 Trassas Slashes and smoke em in the parking lot.

I did add spacers between motor and mounting plate so I could run stock gear cover. The brushless had a little longer than stock shaft. The motor is actually smaller than the stock Frenzys. I used stock gearing, motor and ESC barely get warm with 2cell Lipo. I had to hook up motor wires with yellow to brown to get the motor to rotate the correct way. I would estimate truck is 25%-35% faster than stock with brushless factory settings. Very happy for the price
EZRUN Combo A3 w/ 25A-SL ESC 12T 7800KV Brushless Motor System for 1/18 Car (Version 2)star rating 4JasonFebruary 4, 2011It works great in my Mini LST2. motor gets a little warm, nothing you can't touch and the esc seems to handle the amp draw and weight of the truck nice. Only con to this esc is after a not so rough crash it resets itself and I have to plug into the program card again. Any help on this would be nice. It's kind of annoying. BUT for the money, great setup for 18 scale.
