EZRUN Brushless System Combo B3 w/ 35A-SL ESC and 32T@1200KV 3650M Brushless Motor for 1/12 and 1/10 Cars (Version 2.0)star rating 5BPBJanuary 29, 2012I converted my 11-year old T-Maxx truck to electric by getting some transmission conversion parts and a custom motor mount from various sources. I chose this HobbyWing B3 combo because of the low-Kv motor and the good things people were saying about the ESC. My truck has very low gearing, and this combo works very well on a 2s Lipo. With low gearing, any cogging is minimal, and I have good control forwards or backwards. The TMaxx truck has a top speed of 6mph with 2s Lipo, and crawls well. The ESC and motor never even heat up, and with a 5000mAh battery, which is easy for the tmaxx to carry, runtimes are over an hour. The only negative I have is with this motor. It's a good motor overall, but since it's small (380-series size) it cannot have a good brake like an outrunner is. The 100% drag brake cannot totally hold my TMaxx, even with the low gearing. But overall this is a great combo. I really like the adjustability of the ESC.

Turned out to be a vary nice set up, a little clogging but a ton of torque it works well in my axial and fast free shipping win win I thinking about putting there of road combo in my slash thanks Hobby Parts

I can and will continue to buy these brushless systems for all my r/c needs. way better value than comparable high end brushless systems. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's bad.

Runs cool, ez to program and EZ Run seems to have a pretty good reputation. I've only used the more expensive brand name systems before, now I know I can get a just as good system for way less money. EZ Run for me is the way to get a great system and save allot of money doing it. Thanks to Hobby Partz for the great prices and service.
