I wanted something more reliable than brushed motors for my daughters car. This brushless combo gave me exactly what I was looking for. It give me the opportunity to slow the car down so it's controllable for her, yet let me change a few setting for me to have a good time. FANTASTIC VALUE. Now if I could only keep the front wheels on the ground!!!

The programming card is really nice! I installed this into an XTM Rage 1/18 4WD. Using a 2S 1000mAh 20C lipo, this motor stripped the plastic spur gear in about 2 minutes. It has more than enough power! :) During the time the gear was not stripped, this little car was much faster than before and I used a smaller pinion too, a 13T versus the stock 16T. I'm looking forward to getting some new spur gears and tearing up the back yard!

It is a nice step up in speed from stock. Perfect for the size and handling of the rc18. Stock motor screws did not fit had to find some new ones. I am pretty sure these would work http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSGV4&P=7. Also you need to flatten the shaft to set the pinion gear screw. Great quality combo.

Very high quality, Excellent product for the price. Awesome power. You will need a pinion gear for an rc18t to make it work on a mini inferno.

It's now so fast I have to drive it in a bigger parking lot. Easy to program and easy to install. Just make sure you have some 2.5mm bolts to mount it, as they ones from the stock tamiya motors are too big. So happy with this setup! It's a must for the Tamtechs.

After hooking everything up with out a problem, i took it for a test drive on the stock esc settings and the buggy accelerated really hard, lots of torque, i had to dial down the punch setting on the esc, Top end was slightly faster than stock using the stock timing setting so i raised the timing and it made a big difference. Run time stayed about the same if not better with this kit, i used the stock battery to test. Great package highly recommended.
