Using 40 amp esc and 2200mah 3s and beat it up and motor barely gets warm. Remove the sticker on the side as it does not adhere well at high speeds. I was testing unit without blades and it flew off with a loud pop and hit my hand and left it numb for a while. Thought I lost a finger...Awesome motor.

Put it in a custom pusher-style plane with a 5x5 prop, 30amp ESC, and a 1600mAh 11.1v 3s battery and it can hit 90mph with ease, unlimited vertical. I bought the optional spinner/adapter set that comes with the normal Alpha motors and it worked fine.

This is my 2nd exceed motor and they are very tough. I have the exceed monster 25 in my airplane. Hard to beat for the money. Will buy more of them.

Got some decent use out of it in my HK450 but the shaft is wearing @ motor mount bearing side!i need a new shaft!i left the pinion gear slightly loose on main gear but now pinion is slightly wobbling! decent motor for the money!!

Great motor for the money offering plenty of power when ever i need it. I highly recommend this motor for any 450 class heli. Also as many of stated you may want to take the sticker off the side of the motor as it is gonna come flying off and when it does its gonna make some noise.
