60A Brushless Speed Controller ESC [Volcano Series]star rating 4Bruce GMay 7, 2011This is a great ESC. Bought 2 last year and still have one left working fine. The other met its demise in a crash which broke loose a capacitor which is soldered between the halves. One note, the new ones do not come with 3.5mm connectors for the motor or 4mm battery connectors anymore. Thats why I rated it 4 stars. Switched to these because they came with same connectors as all their batteries.

Note recent orders the product goes by the name Proton, rather than Volcano. I'm assuming it's the same ESC. Works fine with the old program card.

I have hooked them up to motors that have cost upwards of $80 or more and they are compatable and work flawlessly. These Volcano series ESCs compare to ones costing 3 and 4 times as much, as I have compared them to these more expensive ESCs (and you know who they are). I will not buy any other brand of ESC but Exceed R/C, because they perform just as well as the competion. Save yourself some money and buy the Exceed R/C Volcano Series ESC.

I haven't got much time on it as it's all fogged in here but will soon! The bench and ground runs have been stellar! Will never go back to "E-Flight" ESC's again. Can't afford the time to keep building new planes due to E-Flights inability to quit burning up and crashing me! Will definitely buy Volcano's again! Thanks again!
