I was lucky receiver was mounted close to motor. Good fan, I've had plenty of wrecks and fan is still going strong. Shipped for $3.50 it's a good deal.

The only complaint would be that the clip does not fit the esc so I had to strip the wires and do a bit more work.

The price is great and works with the stock Traxxas Slash brushless speed control. Does not plug in directly, but with the supplied heat shrink tubing, it is easy to splice in.
