19T Steel Pinion Gearstar rating 5KirkJanuary 25, 2012I needed two 32P x 19T x 5mm steel pinion gears to fit 700 size brushed motors that I was installing into the transmissions in my grandson's electric jeep... and these ones fit perfectly. I ground a flat spot on the motor shafts and ran the gear's grub screw down tight with a bit of blue locktite, and that worked ok.
19T Steel Pinion Gearstar rating 5JimFebruary 19, 2011These pinions have the 5mm shaft hole in them but can easily be adapted to work on 3mm motor shafts by simply purchasing a motor sleeve which are made by companies like robinson racing. I used a sleeve on mine to get a much tougher pinion gear yet fit it onto a standard 3mm motor shaft (like the tacon motors). These will take the abuse a strong brushless motor will hand out, without hurting the pinion gear.
